1. About Alter

Alter is sovereign software published by VISIALIS. It qualifies EVM addresses, reconstructs their asset and movement history, and may translate that history into the accounting or tax language of the requested jurisdiction without tracking or a mandatory intermediary database.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using Alter (Web, CLI, Desktop, Mobile, or MCP Server), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

3. Service Description

Alter provides decoding, qualification, and domain translation of EVM facts. Results may include the economic nature of assets, qualified movements or operations, reconciliations, links to on-chain evidence, and the regulatory or accounting sources used for the requested translation. Queries are sent from your device to configured RPC access points; Alter imposes neither tracking nor a third-party intermediary database.

4. No Warranty

Alter is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. VISIALIS does not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that classifications will always be accurate. Blockchain data is public and verifiable — users are encouraged to independently verify any information on block explorers like Etherscan or GnosisScan.

Alter stops at the sourced translation of the history for the requested jurisdiction. It produces no final journal entry, tax-base or tax-due calculation, jurisdiction or regime selection, filing, advice, certification, or professional recommendation. Regulatory or accounting links identify the sources used without certifying their applicability to circumstances that were not supplied.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VISIALIS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use Alter, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from decisions based on its qualifications or translations.

6. Intellectual Property

Alter's published releases and documentation are available on GitHub. The Alter name and logo are trademarks of VISIALIS. Ethereum, Gnosis, and other blockchain names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners.
